Hi, I think you will all know how difficult this is for me. I don't ask for help very often, it's not in my nature. However, as some of you are aware, we are having a truly horrific time with our 3 year old pupper Laika, who suddenly collapsed on a walk on Monday night, and has subsequently had major surgery to remove her gall bladder and part of her liver, and we are facing a vet's bill that has gone way beyond the amount she is insured for - we have always been responsible owners and both Fen and Laika are insured, but the care, treatment and hospitalisation Laika has received (and will continue to receive for some time yet) has exceeded the insurance limit. She has a 50 50 chance of getting through this, and we love her so bloody much we had to take that chance for her.

She is the sweetest girl you could ever meet, and is a massive part of our family.
