Loki is our sweet, gentle baby boy who’s been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) - a virus that used to be a death sentence. FIP is caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus that attacks the immune system and, in Loki’s case, began filling his chest cavity with fluid. 2 months ago, a treatment was conditionally approved and Loki now has a chance!
The treatment - a life-saving antiviral medication (GS-441524) that has shown incredible success - especially when started early. It costs $5,000 and lasts 84 days. Loki has already undergone multiple painful lung drainage procedures and over $6,000 in emergency bills - but now there’s a real chance to save him.
Every single contribution helps.
The funds will also help diagnose and treat his brother, Thor, who is currently being tested.
Thank you for giving Loki a second chance at life.
