Fight Brain Cancer With Devon Wooten

Donation protected
Devon Wooten is a 14 year old from Clinton Arkansas. He has been battling brain cancer since age 5. Devon was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Glioblastoma which is a very aggressive form of cancer. This is Devon's 3rd different type of brain cancer.  He is a very rare and unique child.  Devon had his 3rd brain surgery on July 11th. This resulted in the new and unexpected diagnosis. He is still suffering some side effects from this surgery at this time. We will keep everyone updated as things progress and there are new updates to share. Join the Facebook page “Prayer for Devon Douglas Wooten” for up to date information. At this time we do not have a specific goal, but we will add that info as soon as we know it.
The money donated here will be used to pay any medical bills that fall on the family as well as prepare and give them the assurance to head out of state if that’s where they feel the best options can be found. Devon is the son of Jason and Sarah Wooten. He has two sisters, Jayleigh and Haylen. Devon is the grandson of the late Bobby Wooten and his wife Sandy. He is also the grandson of the late Cheston McDaniel and Jeanie McDaniel. He is the nephew of Kristy Wooten, Matt Wooten and wife Kayleigh, and Jarred McDaniel. He has 4 cousins, Chase, Aden, Tucker, and Edie Belle Wooten.
Above all else....please go to our Heavenly Father in prayer for this young man and his family.

UPDATE 10/8/18
Devon and family traveled to Duke University on 10/3 to inquire about a trial.  Devon was accepted for this trial, but while there he began having seizures.  This does not disqualify him from the trial, however it does postpone it.  They need him to be on seizure meds and neurologically stable for 2 full weeks prior to starting this trial.  The first step of the trial is to take 5 days of Tremador Chemotherapy, then wait 2 more weeks to begin the vaccine treatments.
An MRI and EEG were performed while at Duke and the MRI does show growth, progression, and new concerns.  We do not feel we have much time to waste.
The family is currently working with a clinic in Houston Tx, to explore other alternatives.  The travel and costs for this treatment will be 100% out of pocket.
If you feel this is something you'd like to help the family with as they search for something to help their child - any and all donations given thru this site will go directly to the medical expenses for Devon.  We appreciate any and all donations, and would ask that you please keep Devon and the entire family in your prayers!
