Izzy's College Fund

Hi, my name is Bethany Ryder. My younger brother, Jordan, passed away on April 25th after a 23-day fight in the ICU at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Jordan and his fiance, Beth, were engaged to be married in September of this year. He loved her and their daughter, Izzy, fiercely. I know that Jordan wanted the best things this life has to offer for Izzy, and I know that he believed in her more than anyone. She is bright, funny, inquisitive, and can make just about anyone smile. She called my brother JoJo, but I had just recently started to hear her call him "Dad". It made me so happy to know she thought of him that way. Izzy is only five years old, but the time will come when she gets to decide what to do with her life. While her memories of Jordan will be short, I am hoping to keep his spirit alive by setting up a college fund for her.
