On the 13th of April, I will be participating in the Canberra Full Marathon, and I will be raising funds to assist with the medical expenses for my uncle Micky and his family in America.

In December 2023, Micky was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer, marking the beginning of an incredibly difficult and life-changing journey. Since his diagnosis, Micky has undergone aggressive cancer treatments, battled recurrent lung infections, and endured numerous extended hospital stays. For most of the past year, his health has kept him at home, unable to work and support his family in the way he once did.

Currently, Micky is dependent on a feeding tube for nutrition, but unfortunately, his insurance does not cover the cost of the essential feeding supplies. The financial burden of ongoing medical care has been overwhelming for Micky and his family
