Jack’s emergency surgery

Moriah Ever Vigilant…Jack. He’s the golden horse who began Laine Brook Farm as a riding school. He’s taught many children and adults how to ride, given so many first canters, blue ribbons and champion rides and drives to so so many.

This morning (April 23rd) he was showing signs of discomfort, which if you know him is highly atypical for his stoic self. We brought him in to OCEC and within 2 hours of arrival decided he was a quick candidate for lipoma removal surgery.

Update-he’ll be out of surgery soon. He had a large lipoma and several small-medium sized ones that were removed. There’s an 8’ section that they will be keeping an eye on for the next few days.
