Chris Lori was hit by a drunk driver on October 29th 2015, he was T-boned in the drivers side door and rolled his blazer a few times he had to be stat flighted to U of L hospital where they immediately took him to surgery, after hours of not knowing why & what his injuries were we were finally told that he had broken ribs, punctured lung, a torn diaphragm, removed his spleen and wasn't sure but they thought he had a leak in his esophagus, his stomach was pushed up into his chest cavitity. After a 3 hour surgery and then had to wait another hour before we could even see him. Those were the longest 4 hours of my life. Chris is expected to recover but it is going to be a while before he is back to normal the doctor said he would probably be off work about 2 months. Chris does have short term but it is only a little over a hundred dollars a week, he keeps talking about being off work and how he is going to make it. I've told him not to worry about that right now he needs to focus on getter better, as of today he has still not gotten to eat or drink since this happened and has not been out of his bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that this is one less thing he needs to worry about.
