New Transmission

I bought a car to drive for Lyft and a few months in the transmission started to slip and eventually go out. Only have social security as a means to depend on. Started to drive for Lyft to get extra income to pay off debt. I'm 68 years old and worked in  dry wall business for 40 years. As a result I am limited in the work I can do at this time, which is why I signed up for Lyft initally. It was a pretty good fit for me for awhile until the transmission started to slip. Now I'm stuck with a car payment with no way to pay for it. Life can be a little funny that way. Please if you could help give even $10 or $15 dollars small amounts can add up. It would be greatly appreciated.
