Hi everyone,

We are creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our colleague and friend, Holly Giroux, who is facing one of the most heartbreaking situations a family can go through.

Holly's husband, Mike has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. As you can imagine, their world has been turned upside down. Right now, their focus is spending as much time together as possible, making memories, and ensuring that Mike is supported, comfortable and surrounded by love.

Holly has spent the majority of her life and career caring for others in the social service sector. She is someone who consistently shows up for people during their hardest moments - offering compassion, support, and strength when it’s needed most. Now, as she faces an unimaginable situation of her own, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Because of the severity of the illness, Holly has needed to take a leave from work in order to care for her husband and be present for him during this incredibly difficult time. Unfortunately, stepping away from work means a significant loss of income - all while daily living expenses and bills continue.

We are raising funds to help reduce the financial burden so that Holly can focus on what truly matters; caring for her husband and being with her family without the added stress of worrying about bills.
