Sadie has been growing her hair to donate to the little princess trust in order for them to make a wig for a young person with cancer. She will be going for the big cut soon but would like to raise money to help with the costs of making the wigs. It costs around £700 to make one wig.
The Little Princess Trust is a charity that was set up in 2005 in memory of Hannah Tarplee. Hannah was diagnosed with Wilms Tumour in 2004 and the loss of her hair during treatment was traumatic. Her parents struggled to find a wig suitable for her and felt the most fitting tribute to her was to set up a charity dedicated to providing wigs to children.
The little princess trust helps thousands of young people up to age 24, regain their confidence and identity by giving them a wig. In addition they also fund essential research into childhood cancers which is the leading cause of death in children aged between 1 and 15.
You can help us give hope to children and young people, by funding real hair wigs and ground-breaking childhood cancer research projects.
Thank you so much for reading this and for donating.
