Hello, my name is Travis, and I am trying to raise money to assist in taking care of hospital bills and other expenses that accumulated during the time I was off work due to an accident that occurred last year. While I was helping some people who had been run off the road and got stuck in the mud (White Honda SUV), I was hit by another car who was driving way too fast.

The driver hit me and then proceeded to smash into my car with my family inside at the time of the accident (they are all safe). But I wasn't so lucky; after being struck while trying to evade the oncoming car, I flew through the air and landed on my head and shoulder, causing my arm to violently dislocate and leave me motionless on the ground. After the dust settled, my family got to safety and then came looking for me in all the chaos. After finding me on the ground motionless and fighting for my life, emergency services were called, and some helpful souls made sure I was alive and well. Once loaded into the ambulance, I was rushed to the hospital and treated for severe road rash and assessed for any life-threatening injuries. I would like to thank the Lord that all I came out with is a tear in my shoulder as well as problems sitting/standing, which resulted in me needing several months of physical therapy and surgery. While it has been a long recovery, I am also struggling with the legal and financial burden of the situation since, at the time of the accident, the lady who hit me did not have insurance. Accumulating hefty amounts of hospital bills and lawyer fees and having to get a new car for my family hasn't been easy.
