I never thought I’d have to do this.. My dad, Jerry, is fighting for his life! He recently had a stroke, by taking him into the hospital, further testing revealed that he is in liver failure. He is a true fighter! He is so strong and so resilient! My dad was given a 1 in 5 chance of living 90 days, today is day 88! He has been fighting so hard, going through procedure after procedure. He has  a G.I. Doctor, an internal medicine doctor, a cancer doctor and every doctor and nurse he’s had the pleasure of meeting in Littleton and St. Anthony’s hospital! My mom and I are working endlessly with the help of loved ones and friends to maintain the restaurant and the every day in-between of our every day lives!  My dad has not worked for over 3 months and we have endless medical bills! My dad has had some setbacks, he has had several hospital stays and has been in the hospital for the last 4 days! We are creating this fundraiser for my dad because in less than a month he will be eligible for a liver transplant! My dad is the co owner of Maria Elena’s Mexican Restaurant and he has been unable to help my mom with the overwhelming responsibility of keeping the business afloat. They have owned their  business for 35 years and they are struggling financially because they do not have a 401K or other benefits to fall back on. We are keeping my dad in very high spirits because we will fight this! Anything helps and we love you all so very much! ❤️
