In February this year, our world was turned upside down when my dad was diagnosed with primary CNS lymphoma of the brain. From that moment on, everything felt uncertain, frightening, and overwhelming.

But if there’s one thing anyone who knows my dad will tell you, it’s that he is a determined fighter. He’s faced more than his fair share of challenges over the years, and he has tackled this diagnosis with the same strength, grit, and courage he’s always shown.

This year has not been easy — not just for him, but for our incredible mum, who has been by his side every single step of the way. Watching them both navigate this journey has been humbling and inspiring in equal measure.

Despite how unwell he was before treatment, where he is now truly blows my mind. We’ve been able to share moments we once feared might be lost forever — day trips, theatre visits, mini breaks, and most memorably, a family holiday to Northern Ireland, where Dad grew up. It’s a trip none of us will ever forget, and one we hope to repeat very soon.

All of this is why doing a little something to give back means so much to me. Lymphoma Action provides vital support to families facing diagnoses like ours, and I would love to help raise funds so others don’t have to face this journey alone.

I know times are hard for so many right now, but if anyone is able to spare even a small donation, I would be forever grateful.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2026 — and to my dad, my lifelong hero, I am beyond proud of you ❤️
