Help Jennifer Rebuild After Fire Loss
Hello. My name is David Engel. I'm posting this in the hopes of raising funds for one of the closest people in my life, one known for 4 decades. Jennifer McKeon lost all of her possessions in a fire that swept through her apartment of a multi-tenant building on Walnut St in North Adams MA at 3AM on August 9th, 2025. She was at work and her three dogs were home at the time. The dogs were rescued by area emergency personnel, but one (Gypsy) received burns and escaped into the woods nearby. Gypsy returned to the scene about 24 hours later and needs treatment. The building and apartments are a loss. Officials are allowing no entry to it in hopes of item recovery. Jennifer is now in a position of being homeless with her 3 sweet dogs, and is in dire need of assistance. A place to live, clothing, basic living essentials, food, keepsakes from family... all gone. If any of you read this and can possibly give something, anything... it would help ever so greatly with getting that woman warrior back on her feet to face the world again. Please, folks. Thank you for your consideration.
