Disabled Mother Facing Foreclosure
Donation protected
This is my mother Bonnie. She is disabled and in need of several sergical procedures to hopefully give her back some quality of life. She is extremely limited with her mobility. She's a lifelong hair dresser and at 71 years old...she still attempts to work. She can't walk without her Walker and has vertebrae in her upper neck that are so compressed, that without surgery, they will sever and leave her completely and permanently paralyzed. We have always struggled financially and we basically have, for as long as I can remember, lived paycheck to paycheck. Surgery was recommended several years ago but was not financially an option for the cost of the procedure itself and the lapse of income during the surgery and recovery. So she has tried to fight through the pain and continue to work. She literally ran herself into the ground and now can no longer work, in fact, she can bearly move. She depleated her savings trying to keep current on her bill's and now, completely unable to work until she has the surgery, is facing foreclosure on a property shes owned for 20 years. She deserves to have some sense of financial security and some dignity going into her medical endeavors. Any help can potentially give my mom negotiating power to possibly modify her loan and keep the property, or help her get into a new living situation and ultimately help with day to day living costs and expenses. Thank you for any consideration with this situation.....
