Support for the Washington Family.

My name is Madeline Bostic and I had the privilege of not only calling Tom one of my closest friends, but one of my favorite people to work with.

Tom’s sudden passing has affected so many of the people who loved him, but none more so than his wife, Melissa, and their children, Harrison and Maggie.

Tom Washington is a Marine Corps veteran and enjoyed a successful career in air traffic control during his military service as well as a civilian. Most recently, he worked at ILM Tower/TRACON.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Tom was an avid Duke basketball fan, a loving husband, and a devoted father. His friends know him for being the life of the party, but also for being a softy at heart. There is no one quite like him, and I’m grateful that we all got to know the one of a kind guy he was.

With his sudden passing, there are a lot of changes coming for Melissa and the kids. The goal of this GoFundMe is to take away any burden we can and allow them to focus on healing and moving forward at their own pace.
