Help Krista on Her Journey Back to Health

I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my generous, kind and loving daughter Krista Kelley. As many of you know she is not one to ask for help, but rather to ask how she can be of help to others. To know Krista is to love her. She is a hardworking, strong and an independent person, which is why having to ask for this support is such a difficult thing for her.

Over the last year Krista has endured a medical roller coaster. Starting in March of this year she had an operation to remove a benign brain tumor, incurring high medical costs. During this process of healing unfortunately she developed an ongoing seizure condition. She has been in and out of the hospital many times. This resulted in large medical bills totaling over $7500. With seizure after seizure during the last 8 months, it was necessary for Krista to go on an unpaid medical leave from her job to be able to focus on her healing.

Without being provided medical insurance during this leave, Krista is left having to pay for her own medical insurance monthly. As Krista is awaiting the status of her disability approval, she still has housing and living expense needs that she can not meet. Financial insecurity and stress are some of the leading causes of her seizures. So your support will allow her to focus solely on her recovery back to health and vibrancy.
