Mrs. Ella Irby spent 45 years as a server at Bogue’s restaurant. She is now jobless after Bogue’s shut their doors permanently without notice.

 She is perhaps known best for her sweet rolls but what many do not know about her is that she has 3 adult children including one who is disabled, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild (whom I hear is spoiled rotten).

While Mrs. Ella’s husband spends his days taking care of their disabled son, Mrs. Ella spent her days taking care of us at Bogue’s. She always greeted us with a smile a lending ear and of course a sweet roll. Her love for her customers would shine with a greeting by name or well wishes for family and friends.

 As expected, she is heartbroken she wasn’t given a chance to say goodbye to her beloved customers and devastated that Bogue’s permanently shut their doors without notice.

 With Mrs Ella’s permission, I created this GoFundMe to allow the community to show our appreciation and love for Mrs. Ella. I am so very lucky to be able to call this incredible, kind and loving woman my friend and she deserves all of the love and recognition we can throw her way.

 So, let us show her how much as a community we love and support her.
