As you may already know, Louis was in a motorcycle accident in August 24th near Corning, NY. After being airlifted to Guthrie Packer hospital in Sayre, PA, he has been and continues to be in the ICU. Through some incremental changes and some rest, he is staying strong and his body is working hard to heal itself.  His injuries were quite serious, though, and the Hospital staff is working around the clock as he continues to be stable, yet not quite out of the woods. 

He is receiving excellent care, however it is a bit complicated due to Louis being without insurance at the time of the accident. Also, Guthrie Packer not being located in Rochester, where he and his family reside, and having 4 children that have begun school at Fredonia, UB, and Penfield HS means a lot of driving, long term car rentals, hotels and such for his wife, parents, sister and close family. 

This is all to say that Louis and his family greatly appreciate anything you choose to contribute, should you do so. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and will need the aid (emotionally or otherwise) of his family and friends every step of the way. 

Thank you for all of your texts, calls and messages; flowers, dinners and good vibes. We feel the love and know Louis does too. It is so wonderful to know how loved he is both near and far.
