5th Annual Show Your Love: Stanley Jones & Alice Jamieson

The SJ/AJA School Council is launching our fifth annual “no fuss” fundraising campaign from February 18th to 28th to help you show your love for Stanley Jones (SJ) & Alice Jamieson Girls' Academy (AJA) in our effort to reach our goal of $10,000 for our students and our school. Please show your love by making a direct donation to the School Council to support the ongoing needs of our school. This campaign makes fundraising efforts easy on parents and ensures an efficient way of raising funds for resources for SJ and AJA.

As you know, publicly funded schools in Calgary are notoriously under-funded. This site has been created by the parents at SJ School (grades K-6) and the AJA program (grades 4-9) to help supplement resources for the school and teachers to use. Funds received are used in many different ways, including but not limited to:

Supporting the learning and development of the school community.

Teacher appreciation and recognition.

Building and ground enhancements (including outdoor learning spaces, furniture, optimizing field space).

Supporting families at the school who are in need.

Social activities for the students (wellness day, return to school bbq, school concerts, and bike to school day).

We also use the funds to bridge us between the gaps in any other third-party funds.

If you are able to provide a donation that is appreciated. Unfortunately it is not tax deductible, but we will still issue you a receipt.
