6th Annual Indigenous Peoples' Day Rocks
Donation protected
Indigenous Peoples' Day Rocks (IPD Rocks), now in its 6th year, is a celebration of Indigenous culture, customs, and community, and directly benefits Abenaki Helping Abenaki, a 501(c)(3) organization that addresses health disparity among Vermont's Native people, provides a strategy of land access, and supports the Abenaki Food Security Program.
IPD Rocks is a collaboration with Chief Donald Stevens of the Nulhegan Abenaki Nation, and will be held on October 4, 2025 at the Shelburne Farms Coach Barn in Shelburne, Vermont.
IPD Rocks Foundation’s mission is to sustain a year-round vessel and engine to honor, celebrate, and support the First People whose lands we live on, and with the endorsements of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, Senator Sanders, Senator Welch, and Congresswoman Balint our 6th year promises to be brighter and more moving than ever. We are so excited about the work at hand growing the yearly celebration to include cultural and arts education, along with drumming, dancing, an incredible rock and roll show with Grammy nominated Baton Rouge bluesman Kenny Neal, DC's Queen of the Blues ~ Carly Harvey, and Vermont's own Dave Keller Band.
The entire event relies on community and volunteer support, and we couldn't do it without you. Your gift amplifies the positive impact on Vermont's Abenaki community.
