Little Logan was born a Heart Warrior with a Congenital Heart Defect on October 2, 2016 to his loving parents Tony and Lora McLamb. On December 14th, 2016, he underwent his first open heart surgery to repair severe stenosis of the aortic and pulmonary arteries at Duke. Since that time, he has had two heart catheterization with ballooning interventions to stretch his peripheral pulmonary branches inside his lungs, which has been unsuccessful. Currently, his heart is taking on a lot of added stress due to the narrow areas in his lungs. Logan’s cardiologist and intervention team at Duke have recommended a highly sought after surgeon, Dr. Frank Hanley, to help Logan further. After a few months of waiting for records he sent, numerous phone calls, and personal letters, Logan was accepted as a “good candidate” for surgery at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, California. He is scheduled for his second open heart surgery on February 1st, 2019. Lora was told that they would be there at least a month and time also depends on how Logan does with recovery. With the upcoming travel and medical expenses as well as expenses already accumulated we are wanting to help relieve some of the financial stress so the family can focus on what’s the most important...Logan. Any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated.
