Alexa Strong

Alexa Jane is an almost 3 year old heart warrior! She was born with DiGeorge syndrome, and battles with many complications that accompany it. She recently came down with the flu b virus going around and had to be hospitalized due to vomiting, aspirating, and fevers. While inpatient at Vermont children’s hospital, she quickly went from being stable to fighting for her life. They decided quickly that she needed to be air lifted to Boston children’s hospital for further treatment. Alexa is well known at Boston children’s hospital as she has had many caths & heart/lung surgeries already. While doing a CT scan, they found that she has a brain bleed and had drained 75cc’s of blood from the site. Her inter-cranial pressure was 28-29 when it should be 0-10. She has now arrived at Boston children’s hospital and was brought straight into surgery. She is currently undergoing brain surgery and they have found a second brain bleed. Please, pray for Alexa. Pray for her mother, Brittany who is going through so much yet staying so strong for her baby girl. Darren and I have created this go fund me account to raise money for Brittany and Alexa as they battle for her life. The funds will help in any way they are needed while they have to stay down in Boston. It will also help with traveling to and from If needed during Alexas fight.
