I'm Javier Cortes Angel (Xavi), born and raised in Valencia, Spain. I have been living in San Francisco with my 4 kids and wife for the last 15 years. I'm flying back to Valencia with my best friend Brian to finish the Valencia Marathon and try to help my home town recover from one of the worst flooding ever happen in Europe. Many people have died and most companies in the area have gone from family businesses to nothing. There are people that lost, not only loved ones but many material assets like cars, personal belongings and even housing. I would love to raise money for those impacted.

My promise is that both me and Brian will finish the marathon (not specific time hehe) and help the community recover from such a devastating event. All the money raised will go directly to friends and family directly impacted by DANA.

These funds will be distributed among key local aid organizations and associations in the affected areas, ensuring that each donation reaches where it’s needed most.
