This well known Philippina-Los Angelena feline needs emergency surgery on her left eye or she will lose it completely.I met Stevie-Ray-Wonder-Cat-Charles-Stevens in the Philippines 2 years ago when she was three weeks old, abandoned by her (cat) mother. Her tail was broken (or bitten off or run over) she had more fleas than fur, a respiratory infection and crusted over nose, and due to street living, crusted over eyes from cat-eye-herpes.She managed to cross a busy road twice without getting squished... and was wandering around blind and meeowing all alone in a parking lot. Stevie was being cooked alive on the hot bitumen on a 110 degree day!We went to the vet in Cebu, and 2 months later she came back home with me to Hollywood.She is currently unrepresented but had been purrr-suing her dreams of becoming a screenwriter.Her main hobbies include chasing bugs, playing with beer bottle caps and shoelaces.If you know Stevie, if you’ve heard of her, if she has slept on your lap, played hide-and-seek with you, embraced your ankles, hosted your party, or nibbled your hair, she needs your help.Her surgery (keratectomy-for adhesions and defects of her cornea) and medication is really expensive, but also really necessary to ease her discomfort and preserve the happiness of this little soul who lives only to love ❤️Any donation or sharing of this post is appreciated
