Shani’s Sensory Garden

Hi my name is Lisa, I am the deputy manager of Rafles Nursery and Pre-school. Completely unexpectedly we lost our amazing director Shani on Friday which has been a devastating loss to us all and we are utterly heartbroken.

Shani always dreamed of making a sensory garden at the nursery so now in her memory the staff are all going to be joining together to do a 5k walk in her memory and all money raised will go towards Shani’s dream.

Shani was an amazing lady and a complete inspiration to us all, she was our friend aswell as our boss and we are all going to miss her beyond words.

Shani always put all the children at Rafles first and wanted a safe, calm and happy environment for the children to thrive. March 2025 would have been her 18th year of owning the nursery.

Rafles Nursery will forever be her legacy.
