Ariah Mae’s Off Island Medical Expenses

Hafa Adai, my name is Joleen and it is with a heavy heart that I’m fundraising for my daughter Ariah Mae to seek medical attention off-island due to an ongoing illness. My girl, has such a big heart, truly thinks of everyone before herself, and is such an amazing person overall. And at a very young age, she is already going through so much.

A couple of months ago, we began taking her into urgent care, to see specialists, and the emergency room on a weekly basis when she started fainting, losing consciousness, and having multiple violent seizures. Every time we took her in for care, her results would come back clean; MRI, cat scans, EEG, EKG, Holter monitor & blood work all came back normal, time and time again. Doctors have prescribed her medication to deal with these seizures. But still, after a battery of tests and days of being admitted in the hospital, they could not find the underlying issue and her condition is only getting worse. So now we must seek off-island specialized care for her to find out what's going on.

All funds will be used to help defray the cost of health care, travel, & housing. All I want is for my baby to get better and to live a normal life. So please, if you can help in any way by praying, donating, or sharing.
