Help a Family Rebuild After Tragic Loss

Hey folks,

It's not often you'll see me reach out for help. Our family is in a terrible bind right now. A little over two weeks ago, my fiancée and her brother lost their father. They don't have enough funds to bury him. Now we've had this hurricane come through, and it put a tree through my brother's mobile home, totalled his car, and snapped both his and my power meter poles. We just moved in here a week ago. We're also financially strapped as most of you know. Today we had Demco come out, and tell us that it's our responsibility to fix the poles, and it's got to be up to code, etc., which is again another major financial blow. We've tried reaching out to FEMA and we were told that they aren't offering assistance to folks in Livingston parish. He's also on wbrz channel 2 news, along with his 10 year old daughter, if you'd like to see the extent of the damage. Can you please help us get word out there? Our family can use any help we can get right now.
