On July 10th, a wildfire tore through the hills of Doyle, California and destroyed the home and standing structures of our friend and colleague, Pat McCarthy.

Pat was able to evacuate with her daughter, animals, a single suitcase of clothes, a box of important documents, and very few other items. Anything left behind was lost completely to the fire. Pat had just finished remodeling her home and moved in at the end of last year. However, because of the construction loan, the insurance policy hadn’t switched to a permanent residence yet. As a result, her insurance policy will not cover most of the personal items such as furniture, clothing, appliances, etc. that were destroyed.

If you know Pat, then you know how compassionate and generous she is with her time and resources. If you are able, please show your support by giving what you can to help her replace some of those things so that she can rebuild and start fresh. All of the funds raised will go towards those things that insurance will not cover.
