Carole was my partner, confidant, lover, teacher...
But, most of all, my love.
We shared some amazing times together and she always found the oddities of life more interesting than the mundane. The worst thing I could have done is bore her. In a vocal joust it was impossible to best her. I could, occasionaly, do so, but, she bested me most of the time.
She wrote the makers of a TV commercial, over a point of grammer, and got them to change the national ad.
She worked while she got her Bachelor's Degree and graduated with a 3.7 GPA.
She made friends easier than I and has more fans than I (OK, that does sort of piss me off).
With all deferance to my children, she was the best thing to ever happen to me.
She didn't want a funeral. She said, "If you have to, throw a party". We will!
She spent the last 2 years in and out of the hospital (high BP, mouth and liver cancer, a burst apendix ad-naseum). Through it all, she was able to maintain a positive attitude and never lost her love of life.
Her daughter, Jeanna, and I don't have funds to cover the costs incurred and, if you can help, any money collected will go to that end. Any money, over and above, will go for her party.
I know she loved you all, as do I.
I will miss my best friend.
