Let’s Get Zeb To Mayo!!

As many of you may know, Zeb has been battling with Ulcerative Colitis since he was 16 years old. Over the past several years his disease has progressed, and for the past 2 years he has been taking chemo infusions every 6 weeks to address his host of diseases. Zeb is only 34 years old and hasn't been able to work since October of 2017. Recently, his RA specialist stated “Zeb appears to be an average 34 year old male on the outside. However, inside of his body he is aging as a 65 year old man." With his diseases Zeb has few good days, and more often than not, he has extremely difficult days. Every day is a constant struggle. Zeb is currently using a walker to be mobile around the house and can no longer drive.
Zeb now has been diagnosed with following diseases that he is fighting on a daily basis:
Ulcerative
Colitis
Enteropathic Arthritis
Fibromyalgia
Reynard's Disease
Osteoarthritis
Chronic Fatigue & Headaches
Degenerative Changes in his spine
Fatty Liver Disease
Kidney Stones
Friday July 6th, am ambulance was called to the house to take him to the ER as his blood pressure was extremely high at 155/128, which is "stroke level" The ER physicians treated him with a host of medications to relieve him from the intense pain, which was causing the extremely high Blood Pressure. After discussing this with his RA Specialist and his GI Specialist, his doctors have come to the conclusion that the best course of action is the refer Zeb to the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. We need to find out what is going on with Zeb and get him healthy once and for all. Although this brings hope, as you can imagine, this will come with a myriad of expenses that Frank and Zeb are not prepared for. They have been struggling to survive on a single income but with mounting expenses and medical costs, this is a very daunting and stressful. This shouldn’t be the case.
The fact is, we love Zeb and we want him to be healthy. He is far too young to be this sick and we need to get him in front of some quality doctors that can identify his issues once and for all. We need to ensure that he is receiving the proper treatment and not being needlessly over medicated. I know that I want to see that beautiful smile return to his face and I can’t wait to see him back on his feet again. Let’s help him get well and get the treatment he needs so he can get back to living again. We love you Zeb!!
