Help Rebuild Lives After Hurricane Helene

I am Cathy Lombardo and live in Asheville NC. Hurricane, Helene has devastated our area, businesses, roads, highways, etc. We are without water maybe for 4-8 more weeks. No electricity no internet and spotty cell service. I am an artist, crafter and vintage vendor. I lost one booth in an antique shop and my life partner lost 5 antique booths in the same shop. The buildings, cafes, restaurants on this road are mostly gone. There are barely frames if anything left. Toxic mud from gas spills and sewage prevent us from even going near the building. Currently most efforts are focused on finding over 1,000 people that are still unaccounted for. The apartment complex we live in was hit hard. We lost 6 complete building of many apartments in each building. My daughter is a teacher in a City of Asheville Downton School. They have no idea when school will resume. Many lives have been lost and we are thankful to be safe. These monies will be spent on and help us and also others in our community with bills, food, water, etc. We plan to give to folks in great need and also take care of ourselves. I've been through many a hurricane and was raised in Florida. I can honestly say this is something that only happens every 100 years or so. We are strong. We are hopeful. We are planning our future. But we do need some help. Thank you.
