Hi, I'm Leslie Hudson, and I'm a musician. I'm about to go on tour for the first time in a long time. Touring is full of expenses, especially when you haven't done it in a while. Things break down over time and need to be replaced or fixed. And the same goes for bodies.
Sitting at my computer or standing at the mic in my studio for the past 3 years has allowed me to do my job even when I can't be on stage or on the road, but it hasn't done good things for my body. The older I get, the more I realize my body can't bounce back as easily as it once did. Sometimes it flat out refuses to function, and you can't always be prepared.
This month I've got bills I wasn't expecting to cover
- RMT and osteopath appointments that will not only help me figure out problems with my ankle and my jaw, but will also help fix the chronic and acute problems in my feet, my back, my neck, and my jaw
- Stocking up on the supplements I now take to cover me while I'm out of the country on tour this fall
- Replacing my contact lenses with new prescriptions
I managed to cover my VERY expensive car repairs a couple of months ago, so Rua is ready to go. I finished my new album and pressed it with help from all the folks who backed my Kickstarter this summer. But I sure could use some help this month covering my health bills.
Healthy body, healthy mind: I do my best to keep myself going and so many folks enable me to keep doing my dream job. I don't like to do it, but I'm asking for a little extra. If you can help me out during this, my crunch time, I'd be grateful for anything you can spare.
