My name is Ashley, my older brother Manny is 25 years old and one of the most caring persons in my life. He was a very active person, from playing soccer to doing ROCT in high school. He dreamed of joining the army in his 20s. Unfortunately his health has slowly deteriorated and stopped him from achieving that goal. It started with anemia in 2022, then in January of 2023 he had a seizure that resulted in him having little to no pulse for almost 2 hours. We were then given the heartbreaking news that he had a several tumors in his body, including a brain tumor the size of an apple. This was devastating for our family. Surgery to remove the tumors was crucial, they were able to remove some but not all due to his body being weak. Manny came home for maybe 2 days before we had to take him to the emergency room once again. This was the night of January 28th, and has been hospitalized since. Manny is now hooked up to machines, unable to breathe on his own. We are asking for help to cover hospital bills, and possible recovery and rehabilitation fees God willing he heals from this.
