My name is Ria, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart. My beloved cat baby, Leo, has been diagnosed with an acute kidney infection and is currently hospitalized in emergency care. Leo is my home, and I can’t imagine my life without him. All I know is that Leo is a happy and playful cat who was making biscuits until the day before happily at his home and is now hospitalized in emergency care. It’s painful to not have him with me.

This infection has come on suddenly and aggressively, and the costs of his treatment are beyond overwhelming. Although I have pet insurance that covers a significant portion of the expenses, the remaining costs are still substantial. As an international student living on a modest stipend, I find myself struggling to cover these unexpected expenses.
