Funeral and medical expenses

Today my father has finally passed after  having a very large stroke in early January this year.  There were a lot of difficulties and unforeseen issues from his stroke until today. 

Now that he passed he can finally rest easy and see my sister in heaven again. 

My father was a great man and worked hard all his life. Unfortunately with the need of medicaid to help pay for all the nursing home costs, we had to cash out all of his life insurance policies. The cash value of these are and his current assets are not enough to cover the full funeral cost. In addition  with all the other miscellaneous treatment he had to receive from all the hospital stays, nursing homes, and legal fees the costs are really adding up.

I know it is a tough time for everyone. So if you could spare anything to help out it would be greatly appreciated.

I would keep everyone posted if and when we are going to have memorial services.
