My name is Sandy Morden, and I am raising funds for my nephew Ethan Palmeiro as he faces a new and difficult chapter in his life. Son of Lisa guerreiro & Marco Palmeiro 
 At just 15 years old, Ethan was diagnosed with osteosarcoma after what began as knee pain quickly developed into a noticeable lump in November 2025. Since then, he has already completed several rounds of chemotherapy to help shrink the tumor to an operable size, and he will need additional treatments following his recovery from surgery. On February 24, Ethan bravely underwent a very long and complex surgery. We are grateful that the tumor was successfully removed, and the surgeon performed a rotationplasty, which doctors believe was the best option given that Ethan is still growing.

The road ahead will be challenging — Ethan will need time for recovery, intensive physiotherapy to learn to walk with a prosthetic limb, and space to adjust emotionally to these life-changing circumstances. During this time, the love and support of his family will be more important than ever. As family, friends, and community members, we hope to help ease some of the financial pressure on Ethan’s immediate family so they can focus fully on being by his side and covering the many unexpected expenses that come with this journey.
