Family in Need of Handicap Van

The Alkfoof Family is originally from Jordan. They traveled to St. Louis in order to find care for their two children, Nabeel age 8 and Carole age 4, who are living with cerebral palsy. Fortunately, the care the children received here in St. Louis was and continues to be spectacular. They received assistance from various organizations, providing a wheelchair for Nabeel. Despite all of these acts of kindness, the Alkfoof family does not have the funds to purchase a handicap van. Mother Hibah and father Tariq must lift Nabeel and Carole’s heavy wheelchairs into their normal minivan, which is strenuous on their backs with Nabeel weighing 75lbs and Carole weighing 42. This often stops the family from being able to do what Nabeel really loves, going outside and seeing the world around him. With the help of generous donors, the Alkfoof family will purchase a much needed handicap van.
