Hospice care and funeral services of Jolene
Donation protected
Jolene was born in 1999. She and her twin sister came into this world faster than anyone expected. Sadly, Jolene is leaving us in the same manner. Her life has been cut short by liver disease. Though her life is shortened she has lived more than most people her age. She is an interesting mix of fearful and bold. This is what makes her so brave. Jolene is exceptionally shy and exceptionally sassy. She loves fiercely. She loves affection. She loves to be cuddled by her siblings and always wants to be in the company of people who love her. Anyone who knows her has felt her intensity and is better for it.
Jolene loves animals more than humans almost. She always has had all sorts of pets; dogs, cats, rats, even a pet cockroach! She likes to make voices for and speak for her pets, creating elaborate stories about what they are thinking and feeling. Her imagination is limitless. When she was a child she always loved to make-believe. She'd be a movie star one moment and a kitten the next. She made lots of comical home movies with improvised scripts. She has an amazing sense of humor. There is no one she couldn't make laugh if she wants to.
Jolene has "it". That quality that makes her shine. She makes you feel special and you want to be in her presence. Her energy is captivating. She has the most amazing smile that can light up your world. She has a quiet loving way about her that is subtle yet unmistakable. When she loves you, she loves you with every fiber of her being.
When Jolene moves on from this plane of existence she will be survived by her mother, Leticia, and her 6 siblings; Joshua, Jaden, Danielle, Jazmyn, Alicia Jenne, and Dedre. Though their loss will be painful to bear, they will have one another to turn to for strength and consolation. However, their pain is the legacy of their bond and the love they have for their beloved daughter and sister.
We, Jolene's family are asking for your help which will afford Jolene the compassion and dignity to live out her final days at home with hospice care where she can be cared for and surrounded by her loved ones. We also ask for your generous donations to fund funeral services so that Jolene's friends and family may come to say their final goodbyes. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for taking the time to learn who Jolene was, to hear her story, and for your kind donations and support during this difficult time.
