If I can’t save my house, I will lose the equity I have in it. I also will lose the scenery around me which has been my comfort. Worst of all would be what to do with my pets, 4 cats and a small dog, who have been my family since my husband’s death.
This foreclosure takes place on February 18, 2018; therefore I would need funding by February 14, 2018 in order to forestall the foreclosure. It has pulled my credit score from the 600’s down to the 500s and I can’t get a loan because of that, even though I do pay my bills monthly and on time. Two companies have turned me down. If the loan company had wanted to work with me and to communicate with me, then I could have doubled payments or whatever they would have worked out. They continued to send correspondence to my deceased husband and a son-in-law who I haven’t seen for many years. I wasn’t sure I could legally open the mail with his name on it.
My house is a small little cottage built in the 1930’s. I would be the person who benefits. I would appreciate anything anyone could do to help me. For want of less than 7000.00, which I could have paid off as a loan, my home is being sold from under me. It is not a mansion and not even modest size. It is about 750 square feet. If I could pay these back payments, a lawyers’ fee, and an unexplained fee of 600, totaling just under 7000, I could then resume the payments on my house as I have done all along.
I thank you in advance for any help that you could give me.
