Lupus Strong
Donation protected
I have been living with lupus for 10 years now and I can’t say it’s gotten much easier to live with. I have good days as well as many bad days. I have at one point lost vision in one eye and recently had a tia (minor stroke). I go to the doctor regularly and get chemo every 4 months. The stroke caused weakness in one side so I recently was doing physical therapy. For those of you who do not know about lupus, it is an autoimmune disease that causes my white blood cells to attack basically any part of me. I do have pretty good health insurance. Unfortunately because of my health I have not been able to work for going on 2 yrs now, so as you can imagine expenses are always hard to meet. I have a beautiful woman by my side that works hard to take care of not only me but our 2 children. I hate to burden her with my medical expenses which is why I am asking my family and friends to help. I have a ton of medication that I need to help me feel well as well as pain meds for bad days and small procedures, mri, etc. anything will help and it does go a long way. Just sharing the post is helping. I appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you!
