Help Calvin Vick kick MS

Donation protected

This is Calvin Vick, my father. He was an EMT in the High Prairie area for over 20 years before he started experiencing the symptoms of multiple sclerosis. It affected his eyesite, as well as giving him severe pain in his ears, and head as well as his spine. After he had to resign as an EMT, my father went to multiple doctors and specialists to find out what he had, and how to treat it. It was over 2 years before he was diagnosed with MS, and by then, the symptoms had progressed. His eyesight, ability to walk, stamina, weight, and reaction time had greatly reduced, while his headaches and general body pain increased. Through it all, he remained hopeful, strong, and determined to get past it, and he remains my rock to this day. I have not been the greatest son in the world, but I am hoping that i can at least help him in his greatest time of need. Many of you have heard that MS has no cure, but there is more then hope in the potential of stem cell therapy. And the results are showing this. I am personally working towards helping pay for the treatment, but the faster we can raise the money, the better. The progression of the MS has increased and time is running short. We have went to multiple specialists, tried different experimental treatments, and vastly changed his diet. While some of it helps slow down the process, nothing has done anything substantial to stop it. I ask all of you to please give however much you can spare, so that he may live a little longer, and possibly walk again. Thank you.
