On Easter weekend, the most beautiful light, Evan Crowley, passed away suddenly at eight years old. Evan was a ray of sunshine to all who knew him and truly made your soul smile. His giggle was infectious, his passion for cars and trucks was unwavering, his love for those around him was felt by all, and his will for what he wanted could not be broken. He told stories that entertained you, was excited by the smallest of things, and never missed an opportunity to tell you that he missed his mom and dad when he was away from them. He would ask to be your side kick or for one more hug, and tell you all about the "x-ray" fish that Daddy was going to catch. Evan was truly one of a kind and entered your heart the minute you met him. He will be missed immensely but will always be remembered.
We are family friends reaching out to support his memory by asking for some help. Most importantly, we are asking for your help to support the family with their expenses during this incredibly difficult time. Evan's passing was completely unexpected, and the shock is overwhelming. We would also like to purchase a buddy bench as a memorial for him, to be placed at his school. He was a huge piece of his school community, and we would like to honour him where he was known by all. Having a place to go where you know Evan would hug you or chat with you about the newest toys will bring so much happiness to those that he can no longer bring to himself.
Heather Simpson will be responsible for the portion of the funds that are used to purchase the buddy bench at his school, and will ensure that the rest of the donations are given to the family.
On behalf of the Crowley family, we thank you so much.
