Bring Everett Home

My name is Melissa. We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the devastating story of the Solomon family from Omaha, Nebraska. They recently embarked on a camping trip to beautiful Arkansas, hoping to create lasting memories with their children and friends. Little did they know that this trip would turn into a tragic nightmare.

Jessica and Shane, along with their children Logan, Arya, Everett, and Salem, were enjoying a day of hiking around the scenic lake edge with their dear friends. Unforeseeably, their 5 yr old son, Everett, accidentally slipped and fell off a cliff. Everett was a very gentle soul who was very kind, caring and very sweet to all of the people around him.

Amidst their grief, the Solomon family now faces the daunting challenge of bringing Everett's body back home to Omaha, where they can hold the necessary funeral services and say their final goodbyes. However, the financial burden of transporting Everett from Arkansas to Omaha is overwhelming for them, as they have exhausted their resources on medical expenses and accommodation during this unforeseen tragedy.

That is why we are initiating this GoFundMe campaign—to come together as a compassionate community and offer support to the Solomon family during their darkest hour. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the transportation costs, and medical and funeral expenses for Everett, alleviating the financial strain on Jessica and Shane so they can focus on healing and honoring their beloved son.
