Hey there. We are starting this gofundme for my mom Sharla Hasty. Unfortunately, this past week mom suffered a stroke and has lost speech as well as some mobility in her left side. We are encouraged by the progress she is slowly making but we are also aware of the long road ahead of us. She remains in the hospital for ongoing testing until they can provide a clear guide to next steps. She lives out of state which does add a layer of complexity for our family and causes many limitations with handling her aftercare. Due to her condition she will be unable to work for an extended amount of time and will also need to cover many of her rehabilitation expenses out of pocket.
