At GIDT, we support Indigenous youth and leaders to be empowered decision-makers for the betterment of their communities and future generations!
Help support future Indigenous leaders by sponsoring a student to participate in the innovative Champions of Change Nation Re-Building Program!
Award-winning Indigenous leaders, Elders and knowledge-keepers, green tech innovators, business leaders and entrepreneurs from across Canada and around the world will lead the classes to ignite the creative genius and entrepreneurial spirit of the next generation of Indigenous leaders.
Every young leader that goes through this program translates to a hundredfold impact on the community. All of our experience has shown that for transformational change to take place, a community needs champions! Be part of supporting the first cohort of Champions in Canada!
Sponsor one youth or Indigenous leader to participate for $5,000 or contribute towards their scholarship in any way that you can! Every dollar counts!
The program provides:
- Culturally appropriate training in leadership, business fundamentals, governance, partnerships, environmental management, and much more
- A growing network of peers, mentors, tools and resources
- Internship opportunities and entrepreneurial support
