Save Mango

I took Mango to the vet hospital because he was limping and had a hard time getting around. This was progressive. However, in the past couple weeks, he was no longer able to jump on the bed like he used to and his legs were shaking. The Vet took an x-ray and it showed bilateral presumed prior femoral head fractures. She said they don't look fresh and likely happened from trauma when he was a kitten. The Vet said that cats wait until the last minute to tell you when something is wrong. I adopted Mango when he was 8 months old and he is now 2yrs, 7months old. He is the most cuddly, loving cat. He loves everyone. He will give you cuddles and climb in your lap, lick your face, paw at you gently to get more pets. The Vet and Vet staff seemed taken aback by the xrays. I was too. Mango had not ever fallen nor had he been subcomed to any trauma while in my care. For now, there is pain management. In the future, he will need surgery with a specialist. The surgery will be expensive. I dont know exactly how much yet but I was given a ballpark of $4,000-$5,000. I'm asking for help in raising funds for this necessary surgery to improve Mangos quality of life and give him the long life he deserves.
