I have been married to this man for 25 years, he is the love of my life, my campaign and the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. For several years Alex has had issues with his heart which has been controlled with medications. But the past several months he has been having complications with his heart staying in rhythm.
Alex was at one hospital to try to improve his heart, but was transported to a specialized heart hospital. As he was admitted his heart was not improving, so the doctors had sedated him and medications to calm his heart. After results of a couple of tests, they recommend that Alex would need a heart transplant.
I consulted with my son, and his mother that we will go forward in the process of qualifying for a heart transplant for Alex.
We did receive approval and Alex is awaiting a heart donor, which according to the transplant team, he is considered a top priority recipient.
We have received prayers, blessings and hopeful wishes for his transplant to occur.
When this journey begins for Alex, financially it will be a strain on us and if we receive donations it will be most appreciated to help us out on any medical bills that we will be responsible for.
Sincerely with love,
Sandy & Benjamin
