Kinsley’s Race For A Cure

And as many of you know, My daughter, Kinsley, was diagnosed with Tay-Sachs disease about eight months ago. Tay-Sachs disease is a degenerative disease that destroys the spine and brain. Children only live about 2 to 4 years. The disease causes a child to be paralyzed from the neck down, with violent seizures. She is still the only child in Indiana with this horrible disease. The last eight months have not been easy. Every week, I am watching my beautiful daughter get sicker and have more seizures. I have been in contact with the gene therapy doctors, and we are still fighting with the FDA to get it approved. We need lots and lots of prayer. Every day, toxins are entering my daughters brain. I have to keep her as healthy as possible. Every single dollar is very helpful. There are natural therapies that Kinsley needs every day, but they cost a lot of money. Insurance will not cover these therapies. When the gene therapy gets approved, they will only take the healthiest children. It is a fight to keep her healthy. Without going into too much detail. I am in a battle with my ex about childcare. Currently, a unlicensed, unqualified person is watching my daughter during the day and there’s nothing I can do about it. My next court date is in March, and I hope to show up to court with a full-time nanny ready to go. I want to hire a nanny that will take care of Kinsley during the day when I am at work. Someone who is trained with a child with seizures. Someone who will take her health extremely serious and spend one on one time with her. Right now, I am working about 35 hours a week, because I refuse to work weekends so that I can spend this time with Kinsley. I also take off early during the week to visit her on Wednesdays. My goal, is to raise the money to hire a full-time nanny which will cost about $600 a week. There are several natural therapies that I am also trying to get Kinsley in. I want to get her in rife therapy. These cost a lot of money per session. I will not give up on my daughter. I believe in my heart that I need to keep her as healthy as possible and continue to pray and God going to work a miracle. If I show up to court without a daycare provider available, she’s going to be staying with the same lady that watches her. I have zero access to her with this lady, because she is my exes best friend and their goal is to keep me away. Indiana is not a fair state and I am fighting for the rights to be in my little girls life. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
