Hello all My name is Destiny Bennett 5years ago I found out I had lung cancer and had to have surgery everything went well I had a long recovery but I made it through by the grace of God!!!!

Fast forward September 2022 I had to stop working because I was pregnant with twins and was at risk of preterm birth I had FMLA but that was only good until December. The twins blessed up with their presence on January 8, 2023!!! So from January to March I was on leave without pay & our struggles begin trying to maintain bills and family expenses without an income and two newborns!

May I went in for my routine scan and my nightmare started all over again I was informed something was on my lung again! Had a biopsy and it revealed that it was lung cancer once again… I just found out that I have to have surgery on August 15,2023 & I’ll be out of work and not sure if FMLA is going to get approved. I’m a pretty private person so only a few family members & friends know what’s going on! We are really behind in bills & it’s time I put my pride to the side & ask for help!!
